Making his Feinstein's at the Nikko cabaret debut, stage and screen star Norbert Leo Butz will be bringing an eclectic mix of songs from his legendary 3 decade career as one of Broadways most versatile singing actors.
The two time Tony Award winner will perform highlights from several of his 11 Broadway shows, including “The Last Five Years” by Jason Robert Brown, “Big Fish” by Andrew Lippa, “Wicked” by Stephen Schwartz, “Thou Shalt Not” by Harry Connick JR, and selections from his Tony Award winning roles in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” by David Yazbek and “Catch me if you can” by Shaiman and Whitman. Equally at home as a singer songwriter, Mr Butz will also perform original compositions from his 2 solo records, and pop covers by some of his favorite writers, including Tom Waits, Elton John, and Bruce Springsteen.
Mr Butz will be accompanied by Jazz and Musical Theatre composer and pianist Andy Roninson, the 2019 recipient of the Jonathon Larson award for most promising new musical theatre composers.
