San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Company (SFBATCO) presents The Lin-Manuel Effect.

From In the Heights to Hamilton to Encanto, the music of Lin-Manuel Miranda has redefined what modern musical theatre can sound and feel like—blending hip hop, salsa, R&B, and traditional show tunes into stories that pulse with heart and history.

This electrifying cabaret brings together SFBATCO’s incredible singers for a high-energy evening celebrating rhythm, community, and the power of storytelling through song. Featuring unforgettable numbers from In the HeightsHamiltonEncantoMoana and more, the show is an inspiring tribute to a composer whose work continues to shape the future of Broadway.

Expect rapid-fire lyrics, soaring ballads, and ensemble moments that will have you on your feet—all performed by Bay Area favorites Kylie AbucayRoeen NooranSidney Matthew RománJocelyn “Jojo” Thompson-Jordan, and Rodney Earl Jackson Jr., with Diana Lee on piano.
