San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Company (SFBATCO) presents The Lin-Manuel Effect.
From In the Heights to Hamilton to Encanto, the music of Lin-Manuel Miranda has redefined what modern musical theatre can sound and feel like—blending hip hop, salsa, R&B, and traditional show tunes into stories that pulse with heart and history.
This electrifying cabaret brings together SFBATCO’s incredible singers for a high-energy evening celebrating rhythm, community, and the power of storytelling through song. Featuring unforgettable numbers from In the Heights, Hamilton, Encanto, Moana and more, the show is an inspiring tribute to a composer whose work continues to shape the future of Broadway.
Expect rapid-fire lyrics, soaring ballads, and ensemble moments that will have you on your feet—all performed by Bay Area favorites Kylie Abucay, Roeen Nooran, Sidney Matthew Román, Jocelyn “Jojo” Thompson-Jordan, and Rodney Earl Jackson Jr., with Diana Lee on piano.
VIP experience available: Only two VIP tables per show, each seating four and including a round of drinks, light bites, and an exclusive post-show meet-and-greet and photo with the cast.
