Hailed by New York Times critic Ben Brantley as "a gleaming trumpet of a tenor," James is a veteran of the screen and stage. Bay Area audiences last saw him as he starred opposite Idina Menzel in the Broadway smash hit, If / Then on Broadway and at San Francisco's Orpheum Theater. He's also graced Broadway with leading roles in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Cry Baby and In-Transit.
With musical direction by Michael Orland of American Idol fame, James’ latest cabaret show features original songs as well as tunes from Carousel, If/Then, My Fair Lady… and a few other surprises!
